Outdoor Exhibitors Should Avoid Certain Kinds of Structures

If you are an outdoor (Blue Lot) exhibitor at MINExpo®, show management strongly advises against the use of temporary buildings—i.e., structures with a hard perimeter wall or two-story structures—which require very strict fire code compliance and, in some cases, may result in additional costs for engineering, built-in sprinklers and the hiring of a fire guard.

To give your booth a custom look and provide protection from the sun, MINExpo has contracted with Universal Rentals LLC, which can provide canopies of different sizes and small-frame tents for your use in the Blue Lot. Prices start as low as $384 for a 10x10 tent. Single-story GEM backwalls or offices constructed under the canopy or tent are exempt from the above-mentioned regulations.

Universal Rentals is the official supplier for many events with outdoor exhibits at the Las Vegas Convention Center. You can contact Universal at 702-699-9195 or joyce@rentuniversal.com.
