August 2008 Edition
As MINExpo Draws Near, Here Are Answers to Questions You May HaveWhat kind of on-site support will show management provide to assist exhibitors and help resolve issues? There will be four floor managers assigned to specific areas of the show floor during move-in, exhibit days and move-out. They will be wearing lime green shirts with “Floor Manager” on the back of the shirt so that they will be easily identifiable. The floor managers will have cell phones. The cell phone numbers will be published in the Move-In Bulletin that will be distributed to all exhibitors at the outset of the move-in on Sept. 15. Exhibitors are encouraged to contact floor managers to help with any issues that arise. We also encourage you to stop by the show management and National Mining Association offices for assistance. Where will the show management office and the National Mining Association office be located? What hours will they be staffed? Hall-Erickson Inc., the show management company, will have its office in North Hall, at N251. The office will be staffed from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. beginning on Monday, Sept. 15 (one week prior to show opening), to Friday, Sept., 26 (two days following show closing). National Mining Association, show sponsor, will be located at N252, also on the upper concourse of the Convention Center. The NMA office will be staffed from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Tuesday, Sept. 16, to Sunday, Sept. 21 and on Thursday, Sept. 25. During show days—Monday, Sept. 22 through Wednesday, Sept. 24—office hours will be 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Phone numbers for these offices will be published in the Move-In Bulletin to be distributed by Sept. 15.
